Hi, I’m Linda-Shiva. I grew up in a German-Iranian family in the southern German province. Being part of my family sparked my interest in exploring modern migrant stories and bringing them to life on screen.

After completing my journalism studies at the Bavarian Academy of Television, I pursued a degree in  filmdirecting  at the University of Television and Film Munich.

I love to work on stories that stem from reality. This often leads me to experiment with different ways of telling a story, whether this means finding authenticity in fiction or imagination in documentaries. I love to discover poetry and humor within everyday life– and beyond.

I don't really believe in genre boundaries; I believe in telling compelling stories in innovative ways.
